Current Agent Testimonials*
"I started my insurance business in 1967 as an exclusive agent with another company. I represented that company for 25 years and over that time had 9 different managers. Having so many managers in my career has helped me understand how important to my career good management can be. Since joining the Danna agency and American National in 1992 I have enjoyed the same management at both the local and regional level. Consistent, caring, managers that can balance the needs of agents, clients and company are hard to find. We have that kind of management and leadership with the Danna agency."
-- Marlowe House, Agent, Representing American National since 1992.
"I have been in the insurance business for 17 years. 10 years with a previous company and 7 years with American National. I was drawn to American National for several reasons. The open communication between the home office and the agent, their long term vision, their understanding that people do business with us because of the relationship they have with their agent not the company, and of course because of the local management."
"Between Marlowe House and Lou Danna you pretty much have all the bases covered. Marlowe is the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to property and casualty insurance...As a general agent Lou is by far the most supportive, positive, giving, and appreciative manager you will ever find. He is generous to a fault. I have never had a district manager or general agent spend so much time and money showing his support. If you've ever worked for another company you will instantly feel the difference with Lou Danna."
-- Susan Allhiser, Agent, Representing American National since 1995.
"After graduating from St. John's University I searched for a career that would provide opportunity and challenge. American National and the Danna Agency was committed to the Multi-line concept, and helping their associates build their business.
American National is a pioneer in their automation and support. When the company assigned a profile score to their agents based on their business practices we were well ahead of other areas in the country because of the fine training. The camaraderie and teamwork within the agency make this career rewarding and fun."
-- Ed Hart, Associate General Agent, Representing American National since 1983
